Report of the chief dermatovenereologist
Today, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a report by the chief freelance dermatovenereologist, President of the KADD, Professor Gulnar Batpenova on the current situation in the profile service:
* The epidemiological features of the incidence of chronic dermatoses, infectious and parasitic skin diseases and STIs in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were reported.
* A detailed analysis of the activities of healthcare facilities of the dermatovenerological service of cities and regions of the country was carried out.
* Algorithms for the modernization of the dermatovenerological service were proposed, problematic issues and ways to improve the efficiency of activities were voiced.
* Defined directions for improving the dermatovenereological service in terms of improving the quality of medical care and satisfaction of the population with specialized care; optimization of the work of the bed fund; activation of medical and preventive work on the issues of primary and secondary prevention of STIs and skin diseases.
This work will allow not only to draw attention to the problems of our profile, but also to develop a strategy for improving the dermatovenerological service in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
