On May 30-31, 2019, with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the VIth Eurasian Congress of Dermatology, Cosmetology and Aesthetic Medicine was held in Nur-Sultan.
This large-scale medical event in its scope and content was already held for the seventh time by the efforts of the Kazakhstan Association of Dermatovenereologists, Dermatocosmetologists, as well as the staff of the Department of Dermatovenereology (Astana Medical University), and brought together the most active part of the medical community - specialists in the field of dermatovenereology and dermatocosmetology.
The importance of the Eurasian Congress is confirmed by recognition in the international arena: in 2019, partners in conducting this event were the International Society of Dermatology, the International Society of Dermatoscopy, IMCAS, the Latvian Society of Dermatoscopy and the Society of Dermatology against skin cancer.
63 speakers from 17 countries of the world (USA, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Switzerland, Israel, Slovakia, Croatia, etc.) took part in the work of the Congress. The speakers include Presidents of national societies and associations of dermatovenerologists and dermatologists and cosmetologists, chief specialists, honorary members of the international community, authors of unique methods of treatment and diagnostics.
As delegates registered 350 specialists, including chief doctors of republican, regional and municipal STI clinics, heads of departments of dermatology and dermatology and cosmetology, doctors from all regions of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as representatives of other specialties.
